The ongoing Covid-19 prohibitory period in Kathmandu has been extended until July 15 with Odd-even system being scrapped.
The District authorities of Kathmandu, Lalitpur and Bhaktapur, with recommendation from federal government had decided to elongate the restrictions.
However, different offices and shops will remain open with public vehicles plying without the Odd-even restrictions.
Earlier, public vehicles with more than 25 seats were allowed; but now even the microbuses and tempos will be allowed.
Likewise, the examinations will be allowed to be conducted with not more than 25 students. But the educational institutions will remain shut, with online classes to protect the students.
Amid this, restrictions will continue to curb crowding activities at public places like conferences, cinema halls, party palaces, swimming and religious gatherings and ceremonies.
