Talking to journalists in an interaction organised by the 5 Party Coalition at ICC Lhotse hall in Baneshwor of Kathmandu, Prachanda said on Saturday, that the coalition was issue based.

“The coalition is not formed to make a new Prime Minister in the country but because the Constitution has been autocratically attacked. I make a special appeal, let’s all unite to protect it, as it is this Constitution which has liberated the Nepali people,” he tried to clarify.

“I had been continuously pinpointing different wrong steps of prime minister Oli, which were eventually differed by the people by taking to streets,” he said.

Also, he refuted the recent hitted news in circulation that former King was better than the present President.

“I never said that the King was better than the president, infact my revelation was that the President could not even present herself to the level of former king. The president appointed from the Republic system should have kept herself higher,” he informed.

Sher Bahadur Deuba the president of Nepali Congress said that the Prime Minister KP Oli was not in favour of democracy and constitution.

Deuba also said that it was sad that the President showed herself like a cadre of the Prime Minister and behaved in the following way.

“We were compelled to go to court after the president refused to follow the constitution. And we are very much hopeful that the Supreme Court will act as per the Constitution,” he revealed.

Likewise, Madhav Kumar Nepal the former Prime Minister and rebel leader of CPN (UML) said that in Nepal’s context an autocrat like Oli was born from democratic environment.

Leader Nepal said that they were not fighting against an individual but a tendency which has been intoxicated from power and money.

“The Supreme Court has already hinted from it’s first verdict about the establishment of parliament and we are confident that it will act the same for the second time,” he said.

Regarding questions about different constitutional appointments by the government; he said their coalition was against it.

Similarly, Rajendra Shrestha the leader of Janata Samajbaadi Party Nepal urged not to doubt about the role of the coalition saying his party had joined it for the safeguard of the achievements gained from different movements, saying the future was bright.

Manoj Bhatta the general secretary of Jana Morcha said that the parliament dissolution in the past and that done by Oli should not be kept in the same basket.

Also, Bhatta said the coalition was formed for the safeguard of the democracy and republic in the country.

Earlier, the coalition had interacted with editors of different media.

On Monday it will interact with Civic Society.
