Caretaker PM Oli Expands Cabinet, Inducting 7 Cabinet and One State Minister

Caretaker Prime Minister KP Oli has expanded his cabinet, inducting 7 cabinet and one state minister.

President Bidya Devi Bhandari administered oath of office on Thursday evening, at Shital Niwas.

The new ministers include Khagraj Adhikari as Minister of Home Affairs, Raj Kishore Yadav as Minister of Industry, Commerce and Supplies, Nainkala Thapa as Minister of Communication and Information Technology, Jwala Kumari Sah as Minister of Agriculture, Narad Muni Rana as Minister of Forest and Environment, Ganesh Kumar Pahari as Minister of Federal Affairs and General Administration, Mohan Baniya as Minister of Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, Aasha Kumari BK as State Minister for Forest and Environment Ministry.

It is to be noted that the caretaker Prime Minister’s move to expand the cabinet comes two days after the Supreme Court served it a show-cause notice for reshuffling the Council of Ministers on June 4.
