China Stands Top in Tokyo Olympics Medal Tally Grabbing 34

China is leading the Tokyo Olympics medal tally with 16-gold, 7-silver and 11- bronze; grabbing 34 total medals.

Next stands Japan with 15-gold, 4-silver and 7-bronze; collecting 26 total so far.

Third is USA, with 14-gold, 16-silver and 11-bronze; making 41, with lesser gold then above two.

Similarly in the 60 Nations table, San Marino stands last along other 6 countries acquiring only 1 medal.

India too has secured only a silver until
now.

Nepal’s Gaurika Singh broke her own national record but could not move further in the next round.

In the Women’s 100m Freestyle, Singh finished the course in 1.0011 second and set a new national record.

Competitions are tuff amid covid-19 crisis, with no spectators and high level of health protocols maintained.
