Dahal and Nepal-led NCP Holds Mass Protest Against Dissolution of HoR

The Pushpa Kamal Dahal and Madhav Kumar Nepal-led Nepal Communist Party(NCP) carried out mass protests in Kathmandu against Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli’s move of dissolving the House of Representatives.

The NCP supporters poured into capital Kathmandu from all the provinces in a large number against the dissolution on December 20.

Rallies from different places gathered at Bhrikutimandap to converge into a mass gathering, where co-chairs Dahal and Nepal along with senior leader Jhalanath Khanal addressed the mass.

Citizens from different walks of life, intellectuals, poets, journalists, artists, cadres, civil society along others have been staging protests in different ways.

Though the traffic flow was affected due to the rallies on the street, the program was accomplished earlier in the evening then expected.

The leaders criticized PM Oli’s step and univocally expressed that he had turned into a tyrant and carried no values of a communist.

They also said that the agitation would continue until Oli stepped down.
