All international and domestic flights are still to be halted until May 15.
The High Level Coordination Committee for prevention and control of Covid-19 has decided to still continue with the halt on flight operation.
Narayan Bidari the secretary at the office of Prime Minister revealed the move.
The meeting of the Committee held on Saturday added the duration which was earlier set for April 30.
However private planes from other countries are free to take their nationals during the lockdown.
The Nepal Airlines has been operating only as a carrier for medical equipments from China.
