Former Prime Minister Jhalanath Khanal Rushed to India for Further Treatment

Former Prime Minister and UML senior leader Jhalanath Khanal has been rushed to India for further treatment.

Khanal who had been undergoing treatment in Kathmandu based Norvic International hospital has been taken to India’s Apollo hospital on Wednesday afternoon via Nepal Airlines.

Though he was admitted to the hospital due to fever, health complications began to emerge developing weakness in him.

His family decided to take him to India without delay.

Some kidney related complications were also seen in him.

He had recently recovered from Covid-19 some one month back, but the pnuemonia during the infection had affected his health.

Before leaving for India, he also released a press note, urging for party unity by shunning all the ego.
