Four Former Prime Ministers Along Others Absent in Baluwatar Meeting

Four Former Prime Ministers including Maoist (Centre) Chair Puebla Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, Janata Samajbadi Party Nepal Federal Chair Baburam Bhattarai, Madhav Kumar Nepal, Jhalanath Khanal along other senior leaders like Upendra Yadav and others are absent in Baluwatar meeting.

The all party meeting called by Prime Minister KP Oli could not be complete as the top guns rejected the same on Saturday.

Though the Prime Minister’s office said that the issues like covid-19 and contemporary politics were the key matters, Maoist sources revealed that the MCC and elongation of government tenure was the chief goal.

However, Mahanth Thakur Chair of Janata Samajbadi Party Nepal, leader Laxmanlal Karna while Prem Suwal of Nepal Majdoor Kisan Party, Prakash Chandra Lohani of Rastriya Prajatantra Party are representing their parties at the meeting, according to the sources.

Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba and Vice President Ram Chandra Poudel were seen in the meeting.
