Pilot Club bids farewell to National Paragliding Team

August 6-Nepal Paragliding Pilot Club has bid farewell to paragliding  national team.

The team all set to participate in the 8th Asian Games, was wished for victory amid a program organized in Pokhara.

Paragliding has been introduced in the Asian games for the first time.

The president of the Pilot club Krishna Adhikari said he was excited about the event. “We are very much confident about the good show at the games,” added Adhikari. According to him Nepal’s performance at the international level had created confident about securing gold at the first event.

The team coaches Yogesh Bhattarai and Sanu Babu Sunuwar and captain Bimal Adhikari along with eight players and an official were wished for success amid the program.

Total eleven people have left for the same. The program was run by the secretary Mitralal Bastola and treasurer Khub Bahadur Gurung had delivered the welcome speech on the occasion.
