Dang : Chiefs of security agencies have directed effective security management in Dang district for the December 7 polls.
\nChiefs of security agencies in Dang were also directed to increase security and take action against those involving in criminal activities ahead of the polls.
\nChiefs of security agencies like the police, Armed Police Force (APF) and National Investigation Department (NID) met in Dang on Monday and made this direction. They also took stock of security situation of the district.
\nThe team of chiefs of security agencies includes Inspector General of Police Prakash Aryal, APF’s Inspector General Singha Bahadur Shrestha and NID’s Chief Dilip Kumar Regmi.
\nThe team also studied the site where an improvised explosive device was detonated recently near the venue for an election campaign attended by Nepali Congress leaders including Prime Minister and party President Sher Bahadur Deuba, killing a temporary police and injuring other seven police personnel.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
