\nThe Magar, Tharu and other communities have celebrated Maghi or Maghe Sakranti, amid covid-19.<\/p>\n

Due to covid-19 pandamic, as usual cultural programs with huge participation were not organised this time.<\/p>\n

People celebrated the program in small number or staying indoor.<\/p>\n

Among the Magar community it is the day brothers worship their sisters and feed them with delicacies. <\/p>\n

Matriarchy is believed to be a societal structure in the earlier Magars.<\/p>\n

On this day the Tharu community people also celebrate this festival with joy, visiting their relatives and eating different food.<\/p>\n
