The total length would be of 60 Kms extending upto Rasuwa district.<br \/>\n&#8220;I believe in big plans and am highly influenced by great thinker Daniel H. Burnham who encouraged things involving huge number of people, which could boil the blood of the masses,&#8221;says Nima Gyalzen Sherpa, chairperson of Helambu remote municipality.<br \/>\n&#8220;Helambu is just 60 Kms away from Kathmandu valley, so anyone with their stay in Kathmandu can join in for it&#8217;s one of the closest destination from the capital and is full of fascinating views,&#8221; Sherpa added.<br \/>\n&#8220;It covers almost all the religious sites in the region and 80 percent of snow-capped mountains seen in mountain flights from Kathmandu are visible through the trail,&#8221; he informed.<br \/>\n<img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/thewalkeronline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/received_254945219340647.jpeg?resize=720%2C960&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" width=\"720\" height=\"960\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-4132\" \/\nHe also said that once the trail is complete, it would not only make the place or district famous but the entire Nation.\nHelambu has also encouraged the private sector for the construction task. Anyone wishing to construct some mtrs of trail in memory of their late relatives is also encouraged.\nThus, the name of the late person would be inscribed at different junctures.\nSince there is no availability of national standard for design of trail route the basic engineering concepts were adopted while designing the route help from \"Nepal Road Standard (2027), and Second Revision 2070.\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/thewalkeronline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/received_1085034371969269.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1079\" height=\"1493\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-4133\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/thewalkeronline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/received_254945219340647.jpeg?w=720&amp;ssl=1 720w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/thewalkeronline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/received_254945219340647.jpeg?resize=225%2C300&amp;ssl=1 225w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 720px) 100vw, 720px\" \/><br \/>\nAll materials used are as per national standard.<br \/>\nGuru Rinpoche had carried meditation in this holy region along the trail route now.<br \/>\nThe Great Trail covers places like Thadepati, Melamchi gau, Tarkeghyang along others.<br \/>\nOne can also witness different endangered species like red panda etc on the route.<br \/>\nThe route for Langtang reserve also passes through the trail.<br \/>\nThe federal government has provided 4 core rupees and province government has alotted 20 lakh this year.<br \/>\nThis Nepali Great Wall is expected not only to add beauty to the region but also uplift the economic condition of the local people.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>February 8, 2021\/Helambu- The Helambu Rural Municipality is famous not only due to Melamchi water origin, but also because of the construction of Himalayan Heritage Great Trail in the region.
