Joint Students Union Demand Vaccination for Students Appearing for Exams

The Joint Students Union have demanded the government to vaccinate students of plus-two with anticovid-19 dose appearing in exams.

The students union affiliated to five political parties met State Minister for Health Umesh Shrestha, on Monday in Singhdarbar and drew his attention for the same.

“We have demanded vaccination for the students as soon as possible, as the exams are nearing. The State Minister Shrestha has made commitment to vaccinate the students,” informed GP Mainali, the spokesperson of ANNISU (Revolutionary).

Nepal student Union chairperson Rajib dhungana,ANNISU-R chairperson Ranjit Tamang, ANNFSU chairperson Sudesh Parajuli, Socialist students’ Union Chairperson Rupnarayan Shrestha and ANNISU (sixth) chairperson Bimal pokharel along others were present on the occasion.

The union has also urged the students to follow the health protocols, also asking the different examination centres to conduct the exams with proper distance and sanitization.

The plus-two examinations are scheduled on coming August 15.
