Kalikamai remote municipality in Parsa district has distributed masks to it’s people in each household.
The work comes following the Covid-19 fear along the porous border region in the district. Each household has been distributed four masks today, according to chief Pawan Tiwari.
“Soup and water has been kept at each and every nook and corner. We are careful about the situation as victims of the virus have been detected in the neighboring Indian district of Motihari,” Tiwari added.
All the local unit representatives and volunteers have been deployed and pamphlets about the awareness are beig distributed, asking people to stay indoors.
The move will continue until the pandemic is being contained.
