Wednesday, June 2, 2021/Kathmandu-
The prohibitory orders in Kathmandu Valley have been extended until June 14, as the ongoing expires on Thursday.

Kathmandu valley authorities held a meeting on Wednesday and decided for the same with some ease in the restrictions.

Earlier, cabinet meeting on Monday had recommended for the extension of prohibitory orders for the three districts of Kathmandu valley.

The District Administration Offices of Bhaktapur, Kathmandu and Lalitpur have been deciding about the extension and other minute measures to be taken to control the spread of covid-19.

The grocery stores and department stores which were not allowed to open as per the earlier decision, will be now allowed.

The timing for the closure will remain the same, until 9 pm in the morning.

The construction works will be allowed to resume now, unlike before and the vehicles carrying the construction materials can play only at night time i.e from 9:00 pm to 4:00 am.

The strictness over the movement of the private and public vehicles will be maintained as before.

Social rituals like marriages along other necessary gatherings will see only 7 people with only one vehicle allowed, with a banner.

The vehicle repairing workshops will be also allowed to open at night time.
