KP Sharma Oli has been reappointed as Prime Minister of Nepal after political parties failed to garner consensus for majority government.
President Bidya Devi Bhandari’s secretariat released a press note on Thursday, revealing that the Oli had been appointed again in capacity of a major party.
Earlier, after Prime Minister Oli had failed in acquiring trust vote in the parliament on Monday, President had alotted a three days time to form a majority government of two or more then two political parties.
The time period alotted by the president expired this evening.
However, he needs to garner trust vote within a month now.
