Kritikali the 70 years old elephant has died at the Chitwan National Park, Sauraha.
In 2030 BS, during the time of establishment she was brought to the National Park via Tiger Ecology Project, from the terai area.
Ram Kumar Aryal, chief of National Trust for Nature Conservation informed that the elephant had died due to natural factor.
Meanwhile she was burried after the postmortem.
The news has saddened many animal lovers.
Last year Pujakalj another female elephant had died at the National Park.
The Chitwan National Park gained itself the place as the world heritage site of UNESCO in 1984.
