Lumbini Province Chief Minister Kul Prasad KC has won confidence motion again.
Newly elected CM KC grabbed the confidence motion with 42 votes out of 80 again on Monday, securing his post, according to Krishna KC, parliamentarian CPN(Maoist Centre).
As per the constitution, the newly elected Prime Minister or Chief Minister needs to win further confidence motion within 30 days again.
Amid the turmoil of UML obstructing the house demanding the removal of 2 parliamentarians- Ajay Shahi and Bimala Khatri Oli, the house was halted until 2:30 pm and the process began in the later half.
KC, also the parliamentary leader of CPN(Maoist Centre) got the support of Nepali Congress, CPN (Maoist Centre), Janata Samajbadi Party and Rastriya Janamorcha.
