The central committee meeting which began in the capital on Saturday, has decided about the date of the 3 days national conference, along with the schedule to accomplish the party membership renewal and new membership along with conventions of different committees.

Addressing the party central members, Chairperson Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ said that there were strong possibilities of their party becoming the chief power in the upcoming elections.

“We have the possibilities to become the chief power because the scenarios so far have granted us the opportunity to take initiations in the political moves in the country. But, this political initiation needs to be first transformed into organizational power,” Prachanda said.

“One thing we need to remember is that if Maoist become week, the transformation agendas will be in shadow and the country will fall into the accident,” he added.

“Our party is an easy one as per others and we have little problems too. Most important principally we are united,” he concluded.

He also presented the documents like political report and interim legislation in the meeting, according to former parliamentarian Renu Chand.

Also, a 4 month long party campaign has been announced across the country.

There are 185 central committee members so far, out which 34 are women.
