Mountain guide Pemba Tashi Sherpa has slipped down and died after falling into a crevasse on Mt.Everest.
The 27 years old Sherpa met with the tragic incident on Tuesday, between camp 1 and camp 2 while descending the high the mountains.
Sherpa hails from Silichong-5, Sankhuwasabha district and had worked since a long time with Satori Adventures Private limited.
“Today, your family and mountaineering have lost a son. You will be always missed Pemba Tashi Sherpa in Satori Adventures. Our satori adventures family has become incomplete again. Your soul will always be high in our Satori family.
I express my heartfelt condolences to your departed soul with the wish of eternal peace, brother,” wrote Rishi Bhandari on his Facebook wall.
With this tragedy the number of death tolls has reached 3 with the beginning of spring season amid pandemic.
Earlier since a long time he worked for Satori Adventures, but this season he had been engaged with Tag Nepal Treks and Expeditions and Seven Summits Treks.
There has been voice raised frequently about the proper compensation to the families of guides and porters who sacrifice their lives in course of the risky expeditions.
