NCP has decided to fix seven-year waiting period for naturalised citizenship to foreign daughter-in-laws.
The meeting of the NCP secretariat took the decision amid a meeting held in Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar, on Saturday.
Narayan Kaji Shrestha, the NCP Spokesperson informed media that their party had strongly decided to go for the same in order to pave way for the citizenship bill.
The citizenship bill has been pending in the State Affair Committee (SAC) since a long time due to lack of consensus over the issue between different political parties.
