The suspension of international flights has been extended until May 31 midnight, according to Aviation Authority of Nepal.

As per the decision taken on Tuesday, the halt in the flights of the international route to-and-fro will continue, looking into the grave covid-19 situation in the country.

However, two weekly flights of Nepal Airlines and Air India on the Kathmandu-Delhi and vice-versa route will remain operational.

Nepal decided to halt all domestic flights from May 3 midnight and all international flights from May 7 midnight until May 14.

This comes as prohibitory orders in Kathmandu Valley have been extended until May 27, on Tuesday itself.
