The Nepal Tourism Board has urged the different mountaineering and trekking agencies to be cautious on their expedition due to Cyclone Tauktae.

Releasing a press note on Tuesday, Tourism board has asked to take safety measures and scale only as per the local atmosphere of the mountains.

As the cyclone has wreaked havoc in the neighboring country India along the Arabian Sea coastal strip, the weather of the snow capped mountains are also forecasted to be affected.

The mountaineers and their guides have halted in their positions at different camps of Mt. Everest along others.

The cyclones have been frequent in the recent years due to climate change or global warming.
