President Bidya Devi Bhandari has asked to form a majority government within 3 days.
Issuing a press note, President Bhandari has told to form a government of two or more political parties within May 13, 9 pm.
There is a provision of restating the old Prime Minister if the political parties fail to garner consensus for the new majority government.
Many dub the time alloted by the president to be too short.
The Prime Minister KP Oli had failed to receive the required trust votes on Monday, for the no-confidence motion filed against him.
He had attained only 96 votes, against 136 required for him to continue in power.
