The Supreme Court has revoked the care taker government’s decision of reshuffling the cabinet even after the dissolution of the house.
The Supreme Court made the verdict on Tuesday, thereby the expansion drive of the caretaker government has been revoked releasing the newly appointed 20 ministers for the same.
The Chief Justice Cholendra Shamsher Jabara and Justice Prakash Kumar Dhungana had given the verdict, eyed by many.
The new cabinet include 11 ministers from Janata Samajbaadi Party Nepal and others close to Prime Minister KP Oli.
Senior advocate Dinesh Tripathi along 9 others had filed the writ Against the government, Prime Minister and the president.
Earlier, on May 29, Justice Ishwor Prasad Khatiwada had ordered for the show cause on the case within fifteen days.
