The Supreme Court has given an interim order to provide anti-coronavirus vaccination to senior citizens and people with different abilities at their homes.
Justice Prakash Kumar Dhungana gave the verdict in this direction on Friday.
The court had given the order in favour of senior citizens who cannot go to the vaccination centres, those unable to carryout any physical movement on their own, people with serious illnesses, those having different abilities and vision problem.
The decision comes following writs being tabled at the supreme court for the home vaccination facilities in favour of those who are unable to move out easily for the jabs.
Also, there had been voices raised for the vaccination centres to be set-up in the settlements itself, so that the service seekers could reach out easily without traveling much.
