Supreme Court has ordered to release Managing Director of Ujyalo Network Online Durgalal Lama and executive editor Anish Tamang.
The joint bench of Judges Iswori Prasad Khatiwada and Anand Mohan Bhattarai have the verdict about their release on Friday afternoon.
Lama and Tamang were arrested on April 25 over a news published by their media about agreement between PM Oli and RAW Chief Samant Goiles.
They were arrested from the media office and other equipments were also seized.
Press Council Nepal had already seeked explanation and Patan high court had passed verdict not to arrest the duo.
However, the government had forcefully arrested them and levied charges of crime against the state.
Ram Hari Karki the secretary of FNJ Lalitpur, had filed a writ in this direction following the arrest.
But after 12 days the journalists have been released.
