Women employees heading five polling centers in Jhapa

Surunga, Jhapa: All employees deputed for handling five polling centers in the district for the tomorrow’s elections are women.
Voting in two polling centers in the Biratamod and others three in is to take place under the guidance and supervision of female employees.
Polling officer Namuna Niraula Dahal is heading the polling center ( A) in the Birtamod Municiplaity and Sunita Acharya and her assistants who are all women are handling the polling center ( B). Likewise, women staff are conducting the voting in the Mechi Stadium polling centers (A ) and (B) under the Jhapa constituency-3. Gita Kumari Rai and Ambika Shrestha are assigned as the voting officers in these polling centers, according to Chief District Election Officer Khilaraj Regmi.
Similarly, the team led by Jamuna Karki is conducting the voting in the Damak Municipality center that falls under the Jhapa constituency-5.
As stated by the District Election Office Jhapa, a total of 5,536 employees and 2,064 volunteers have been assigned for conducting and facilitating the tomorrow’s election to the House of Representatives and State Assemblies.
